You know you are a missionary kid when...

So, its always interesting isn't it. Being an mk. My friend whose parents work out in the tribes was teaching me some of their language. "Jam" and "JÄm" (said yum and yaum) which mean "yes" and "no" and the word "Uhh" which is a greeting. (I probably have the spelling completely wrong, but oh well)

Now my favourite word is "Itsi" which means "There is none". Or, in Quechua the translation would be "Manacanchu". This made my sister laugh. She said " You know you are an MK when you end up explaining a word in one obscure language with a word from another equally obscure language!"

That's my little ramble for now... :P I love being an MK...
